Nimarprit Singh Dhammi was born into a middle class Indian family residing in Norway. His father was a geographist who snuk out of the middle east to pursue a carreer of a psychologist, which was highly unusual for an Indian boy who grew up on a distant farm in the land of Punjab. Like his father, Nimarprit liked to provoke people and do things his way. From an early age he had the nannies discussing the unusual boy who always tested boundaries. Nimarprit was the kind of person that would always ask questions and critically judge his soroundings. He would say things like, "how would the world look if there wasn't anything?" - it couldn't be just black, or white, because they are something. or, "Why am I me, and why can't i be my father?". This type of thinking from an early age resulted in a keen interest for psychology. By the age of 12, Nimarprit was reading his fathers psychology books and discussing the works of Pavlov and Freud. From an early age, Nimarprit had an interest for music. He would take command of the productions of school musicals, and regularly write rythmic poems and songs. This resulted in him rapping and adapting a hiphop lifestyle, although this only lasted for a year or so. Phases like this were set to dominate Nimarprits life. He would go from being a stereotypical troublemaker who had to see the principle 6 times a day due to his frequent rants, to being a straight a. student who wrote stories way past his age level - often, simultaneously. These juxtapositions were a huge part of Nimarprits identity. People would know him to be this person that couldn't be labelled due to his many sides. It made him feel at home with several different social groups and fields, and he never felt like he had to give away parts of himself to be so. His real interest for making music today started with the introduction of Kanye West. At first, it wasn't solely about his music, but by the way he was able to share his emotions and thoughts without being restrained. He envyed his general aproach to life, especially being hooked by an interview he saw on Ellen that reminded him very much of himself: Kanye had said that when he was younger, he had a book where he wrote down his own sayings, and referenced them as himself. This was exactly what Nimarprit had been doing, for quite some time. He heard some of his music, and it was done: Kanye West would soon become a person that heavily influenced him. It wasn't before in April 2010 that this influence first came to physical evidence: Inspired by "the taylor swift incident", Nimarprit decided to declare his love for a girl infront of his whole class, during a presentation that was irrelevant for the matter. Not only did he anounce his love, but referenced Maya Angelou in the process of telling the class his dreams of covering her up in a blanket and watching her sleep all night, only to wake up by him drawing her face on a great white canvas. Nimarprit was fearless, and always had been. His journey of making art that would shock, make people laugh, and cry - at the same time, had begun.
